"The Street lighting Task Group aims to enable effective and efficient delivery and improvement of Street Lighting Services across Midlands Service Improvement Group (MSIG) member authorities, through support, guidance and sharing of data and information.



  • The maintenance, design and construction of street lighting and illuminated signs, including associated cable networks.
  • The management and development of the street lighting asset.
  • The processes and policies for street lighting, including energy, procurement, sustainability and environmental issues. 

Through this sharing of information and experiences MSIG Member Street Lighting Services have made significant savings in energy and costs, through implementing projects and schemes more effectively."
