Midlands Service Improvement Group Winter 2015 Bulletin

Dear MSIG members,

Just a short bulletin to say thank you to everyone who has taken the time to attend MSIG meetings this year and to participate in other ways by helping colleagues with discussion board queries and sending in benchmarking data for the group to compare. We really value your input and commitment and appreciate it has not been an easy year for many of you.

Particular thanks to two long-serving MSIG Task Group chairs, David Wright (Traffic Engineering) and Andy Savage (Land Charges and Development Management) who have now moved on from Leicestershire CC and Shropshire CC respectively.

Thanks also to the 3 new chairs for volunteering to continue David and Andy’s good work;

Peter Bell – Lancashire CC (Traffic Engineering),

Dan Watson - Leicestershire CC (Land Charges)

Chris Bond - Northamptonshire CC (Development Management)

Efficiencies & Improvement Log

As the year draws to a close it would be much appreciated if you could take 5 minutes to reflect on how your membership of MSIG may have resulted in an improvement or efficiency to your area of work. Click here for the log template which can then be filled in and emailed to alice.russell@derbyshire.gov.uk

MSIG Members Survey

In response to previous feedback from MSIG members over the years, this survey was put together to find out how you use the group and how you think it may be improved. There has been a link on the MSIG website for some time and it also went out with the 2015 newsletter. However, there have been very few replies, so again, if you have a few spare minutes to look at the survey and share your thoughts it really would be appreciated and could help us to move MSIG forward in the right direction. Click here to take the survey.
